I have owned lots of high end timepieces, and I recognize that the difficult movement may lead to the occasional problem, but my own experience along with Mont Blanc continues to be pretty poor.
Let me begin by saying the watch is beautiful. I actually receive compliments from people on a regular basis when I’m wearing this. But, about 24 months and a couple of months in to owning the actual watch (maintaining mind the actual warranty is just 2 decades), my wrist watch stopped.
After delivering the watch with a Mont Blanc store in my local mall, I has been told it has to be shipped in order to Switzerland to become diagnosed. Several months later I get a call from your store stating the recommended fix is $600. Naturally, I asked “what is included in the recommended fix? and exactly what do I do to just obtain it working once again? “. I was designed to feel like a crazy person for inquiring this query. They were not willing to go over the difficulties or supply any insight, just the $600 costs or I will have this returned.
It is upsetting that the company with such a great background can deal with customers by doing this after all of us purchase these types of watches for 1000s of dollars early in to Mont Blanc’s time as a high end watch maker. You would believe the folks like me would be the early adopters in which invested prior to Mont Blanc may have started producing better timepieces. Read the rest of this entry »
